WINBURNE - Edward N. Houston Sr., 46, of Winburne died Sunday, Sept. 13, at 4:55 a.m. at Centre Community Hospital, State College.
Born in Philipsburg Oct. 8, 1934, he was the son of Abs and Irene (Rothrock) Houston.
He was affiliated with the Protestant faith and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Grassflat.
He was married to the former Elsie Heffler, who survives with six children, Edward Jr., Kylertown; Bonnie Clark, Gladys Foster and Mrs. James (Wanda) Foster, all of Philipsburg, and Robert and Jane Marie, both at home. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Danielle and Jason Foster and Terry Clark Jr.
Services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home Inc., Grassflat, with the Rev. Dale Fleming officiating. Interment will be in the Messiah Baptist Cemetery, Kylertown.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. today until the hour of services tomorrow.
