Hello, I'm Fredericka Sankpill's great-great granddaughter. Sankpill was her first husband's surname name. He died in Germany. They had one known son, Charles Sankpill, my great grandfather. Fredericka later married Charles Braun and died shortly after they arrived in America.

Charles August Brown was born in Berlin, Germany, August 28, 1871, the son of August and Fredricka Braun, he died at his home in Waverly, Friday, January 10, 1930, aged 58 years, 5 months and 19 days.
At the age of nine years he came across with his parents and settled near Waverly on a farm.
When only a youth he joined the Methodist church at Vancil Temple, where he attended regularly until later years. At the age of 19 he was married to Anne Lynn, who preceded him in death. He was later married to Jennie Culbertson, and to this union a daughter was born.
In 1918 he was united in marriage to Annetta Mae Bridges. To his union five children were born, three sons and two daughters: Charles August, Walker Stanley, Herbert Leonard, Freida Irene and Juanita Louise, the latter having preceded him in death January 18, 1927.
He also leaves to mourn their loss two sisters, Mrs. Tena Seaman, and Mrs. Amanda Whisenhunt, both of Kansas; two brothers, Albert and Julius Brown, address not known; four half sisters, Elsie, Nettie, Alvena and Laura, all of Whitefish, Mont.; two grandsons of Mrs. Palmer Johnson of Radium, Minn., and a host of other relatives and friends.
The above was an obituary which Mr. Brown had his wife write October 18, 1929.
Funeral services were held at the First M. E. church Monday morning, January 13, at 10:30 o'clock, in charge of the pastor, Rev. H. C. Munch.
Burial was in Waverly Cemetery.
