Died – Monday Sept. 7th 1885, Mrs. Dakin, at the home of her daughter Mrs. John Romick, of Bennington. Mrs. Dakin was taken sick but a short time ago with typhoid fever and the disease having such hold nothing could be done to better her condition. She leaves one married daughter, and two small children to mourn her loss. About two years ago her husband was laid to rest in the cemetery where she now lies.
