He was born in Hinton, VA on February 26, 1942, and was a son of the late Burrell William and Ruby Ellen (Huffman) Morral.
Buzz retired from Americast in 2002.
He was first married to Janet Elaine (Caricofe) Morral on August 26, 1961, and she preceded him in death on April 13, 1997. He married Delores Anita (Whetzel) Morral, of Dayton.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Richard B. "Rick" Morral, Jr. of Hinton; two step daughters, Kendra Pazaran of Dayton and Tara Whetzel of Harrisonburg; two step sons, Brian Whetzel and Kyle Whetzel, both of Dayton; four sisters, Mary Lee Ewing of Harrisonburg, Donna Chandler of Port Republic, Patsy Londeree of Staunton, and Adaline Hilbert of Hanover, PA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren especially dada's girls, Kamiyah and Kaeyonna Williams.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis Johnson and Mildred Rife and a brother Johnny Morral.
A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Service Chapel in Bridgewater at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 23, 2013 with Rev. Laney L. Knight and Rev. Greg Adamson officiating. Burial will follow at Clover Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater from 6:00 to 8:00 PM
