"Carolyn Ann McGee, 63, of Coleman, died Friday, July 27, 2018 at Coleman County Medical Center after a long, hard and courageous battle with cancer. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2018 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 West Pecan Street, Coleman, with Rev. James Posey officiating. Burial will be in the Coleman City Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

"She was born Carolyn Ann Leonard on August 25, 1954 in Coleman to Edward Leonard and Maggie Wells Leonard. She grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School and later attended nursing school. On January 18, 1975, Carolyn married David McGee in Coleman. She worked at Holiday Hill Nursing Home for a short time. She then went to work at Dry Manufacturing as a line supervisor, where she worked for 19 years. Most recently, she worked at Tiffany's Restaurant. Carolyn was known and liked by everyone and she knew everyone in Coleman County.

"Survivors include her two children, Christi McGee of Coleman, John McGee of Coleman; four brothers and sisters, James Leonard and wife, Mildred, of Brownwood, her twin brother, Carl Leonard and wife, Cheri, of Canyon, Joy Gillespie and husband, Bob, of Clyde, Cathy Dutton and husband, Randall, of Brownwood; three brothers-in-law, Corky McGee and wife, Kathy, of Santa Anna, Bobby McGee and wife, Karen, of Coleman, Ricky Conder and wife, Pam, of Trinity; one sister-in-law, Vicki Cook of Coleman and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

"Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David in 2006; a daughter, Karen McGee; three brothers, Allen Leonard, Murl Leonard and Lonnie Leonard.

"There will be a visitation on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home.

"Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Carolyn's memory."
