Ed Clark, 58, Brazil, passed away Feb. 8, 2011, following a courageous battle with leukemia.

He was born Dec. 8, 1952, to William and Thelma (Froderman) Clark. Ed graduated from Staunton High School with the class of 1971. Following high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps. Ed served from 1972 until being honorably discharged in 1974 as a Corporal. Upon his return home he began working for Nolte's Upholstery.

After learning the upholstery trade, he began his own business called Clark's Upholstery, which he ran until 1985 when he started working for Great Dane Trailers. In 1997, Ed began working for Specialized Pallet, in Clay County, until beginning his own company Pallet Pro's Inc., in 2005.

In his free time he enjoys fishing, riding his Harley Davidson Soft Tail Deuce and mowing grass.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Thelma Clark.

Survivors include his daughter Shannon Clark, son Shaun Clark, granddaughter Cailtlin Fairbanks, brother Robert Clark and wife Pam, and goddaughter Holly Lee.

Services will be at French Funeral Home, Saturday, Feb. 12, at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday, from 5-9 p.m.
