Ned Dean Troxell, son of H. F.
Troxel, was born September 15,
1917, died at the home of his sister,
Mrs. George Latham, Jan. 8,
1937.
Funeral services were conducted
by Bro Huddleston at his
home January 9th, after which
the remains were laid to rest in
the Alexander Cemetery.
He is survived by his father,
two sisters, Mrs. Geo. Latham,
of Monticello, and Mrs. H J
Hicks, of Spann; two brothers,
Ed Douglas and Leland Willis,
one half sister and two half
brothers; and several nephews and
nieces.
Death had already claimed his
mother and one brother, Lysle.
He bad been an employee of
the Bassett Hardwood Co. for
some time and was one of Monticello's
finest and most likable
young men.
It can be truly said of Ned.
'To know him was to love him'
and his many friends will miss
his sunny smile and jolly words.
