Maren left Norway to come to America on 20 April, 1853 with her sister Else. She married Erik in 1854 in Wisconsin.
Maren's parents and their other children left Norway to come to America on 15 April 1854 and settled in Green, WI. Her father died in 1854 and her mother died in 1870, both in Green Co., Wisconsin.Else married Hans Emberson and died after giving birth to their dtr Maria Emberson in 1856.
