Susan T. Fleming, 74, of Wilmington, Del., passed away on March 16, 2013. Susan was born in West Grove on Oct. 17, 1938, daughter of the late Bruce and Frances Thompson, and spent her childhood in Cochranville.
She had been a longtime bookkeeper, having worked for both Wilmington General Hospital and PNC Bank. Susan enjoyed bowling, but found her greatest joy in the company of her loved ones, notably cherishing time with her sons.
was endlessly devoted to her family.
In addition to her parents, Susan was predeceased by her son, David. She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, John Fleming; sons, Greg and his wife Beverlyn, and Scott; grandchildren, Kenzie, Kaeden, and Kyler; sister, Hope Fields; many nieces and nephews; and her dearest and closest friends, Penny and Bill Price.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, March 22, the Charles P. Arcaro Funeral Home, 2309 Lancaster Ave. in Wilmington.
Interment will follow in Silverbrook Cemetery (www.silverbrookcemetery.com). Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, prior to the service on Friday, at the funeral home.
