William 'Bernard' Deppe was born July 24, 1920, in Meredosia, IL, son of William Henry and Mable Elba Hinners Deppe. He married Nellie Johnson December 2,1944, in Mississippi City, KS.
Surviving are his wife, Nellie; children, Sylvia Buker, James K. (Carolyn) Deppe and Clint (Diane) Deppe; nine grandchildren; twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons and son-in-law, Danny.
He was a veteran of the Army during World War II.
