Janice Rogers Harvey, 67, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 in Tallahassee, FL. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Pat Harvey, of Crawfordville, FL.

She was a lifelong resident of Wakulla County. She was a member of Lake Ellen Baptist Church and played the piano and organ at church. She was retired from the Wakulla County School System. She was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed fishing when she was younger, enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach and mountains. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd, Tallahassee, FL 32308.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel in Crawfordville, FL.

Services will be Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Lake Ellen Baptist Church, Crawfordville, FL with burial to follow at Lake Ellen Cemetery. Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel in Crawfordville is in charge of arrangements. (850-926-3333 or bevisfh.com).

She is also survived by three sons: Steven Bryan Harvey, Patrick Lynn Harvey and Homer Bradley "Brad" Harvey (wife Sarah), all of Crawfordville; Grandchildren: Bryson, Brianna, Wynter and Coleton Harvey; brother: Billy Rogers (wife Gwen), Cody, FL; and many other family and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents: Benny and Lora Will Rogers; sister: Sara Ruryk and daughter-in-law; Tammy Harvey.
