Maureen Elizabeth Dennehy Haggin, 98 of Ruidoso, was born on March 28, 1914 in Prague, Oklahoma to John D. Keaton and Bertha (Ryan) Keaton and went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2013 in Albuquerque.

She moved to Ruidoso in 2007 with her husband John "Jack" C. Haggin, who she married in Alamogordo in 1986, from El Paso. Maureen was a long time resident of El Paso, moving there in 1950. Maureen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was known for her sense of humor, style and cooking, she was One Classy Lady.

She was a member of the El Paso Woman's Club, the DAR as Treasurer, and the Border Golf Association as President. She worshipped at J Bar J Country Church and Community United Methodist Church.

Maureen is preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Joseph Dennehy Jr., a daughter, Maureen Dennehy Carson, a son, Gene Joseph Dennehy III and three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 27 ½ years, John C. Haggin of Ruidoso, her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and James Roof Jr. of Ruidoso, a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Suzanne Dennehy of Nogal. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lysa Dennehy and Gene J. Dennehy IV of Santa Fe, John Carson and Kathleen Croissant of El Paso, Richard Malone Jr. and wife Megan of Glenwood Springs, CO. and Caitlin Whitley and husband Ryan of Ruidoso. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Grace Elizabeth Malone, Luke Joseph Malone, Livia Whitley and Nicole Croissant.
