My Aunt Russie lived in a big white house all by herself she was one for cleaning, cleaning and cleaning. she lived to be 100 years old. She didn't take any medications saving for an aspirin a day... She had rental property and tenants, she didn't allow pets and rarely allowed children. As a child she always reminded me of the Wicked Witch on the Wizard of Oz. We lived next door to her and we had a huge back yard..Where we often played ball. Russie hated for us to play ball for fear we would run off her tenants or bust windows or damage her property... so to discourage us from playing .... she would set outside on her back porch and wait for our foul hit or kicked balls to cross over her fence were she then would rush to confiscate our ball before we could get to it and take the ball into her basement...never for us to have it again... and never for us to finish the game...soon we got better... and better at hitting she'd just fall asleep watching us and go in her house and take a nap...from this I learned not to dislike obstacles in life for they are there to shape us and make us what we are to become learn from your mistakes...how not to repeat them.
