KINSTON - Inez Allsbrook Adams, of Kinston, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011. She was born in Scotland Neck on April 29, 1917, to Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Allsbrook. Inez was a graduate of Scotland Neck High School and Bristol Tenn. Beauty School. In 1937 she married J.Q. Adams of Whittier, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband and his parents and his nine brothers and sisters and their spouses, her parents and her three sisters and their spouses. Survivors include her daughter Dianne Adams Connor, two grandchildren Chuck Connor and Cathy Kalista and husband Shane and great granddaughter Caitlyn Connor all of Wilmington. By request of the deceased there will be no funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Kinston 2600 Rouse Rd. Kinston, NC 28504.
