Mildred Jones, 99, of Paris died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at her residence.


She was married on Sept. 30, 1972, to Joe H. Jones, who survives.


Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McEvoy Funeral Home.


Rob Martin of First United Methodist Church, where she was a member, and a nephew, Mel Doughty, will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.


Members of the Rotary Club and McEvoy Funeral Home staff members will serve as pallbearers.


Visitation will be two hours before the service on Wednesday.


Born in Cottage Grove on Jan. 25, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Sallie Ballard Doughty.


In addition to her husband, she leaves two stepdaughters: Linda (Ralph) Goff and Cassandra Ewing, both of Mobile, Ala.; one stepson: Anthony (Amy) Dallmann-Jones of Fond du Lac, Wis.; and a special caregiver: Betty Sue Anderson.


She also was preceded in death by four sisters: Mattie Hunt Hayes, Wilma Treadway, Joanna Highfill and Rachel Davis; and two brothers: Sam and Robert Doughty.
