Farmer Dead Near Brewer - George William Middleton - Ill less than a week, George William Middleton died at 10:30 a. m. Sunday, Aug. 21, 1938, at his ome near Brewer. Son of Ewin and Fannie Hall Middleton he was born in Cave City, Kentucky. Moving to Danville from his birthplace 11 years ago, he had been engaged in farming and timber work. Surviving besides his widow, Lillie Middleton are the eight children, Georgia, Eunice, Thomas, and Hershel, at home, Mrs. Lottie Seaton, and Pauline Barnes, Danville, Mrs. Robbie Barnes, Fithian, and Clyde Middleton, Covington. Two children preceded him in death. A brother, Henry Middleton and four sisters, Mesdames Lee Laird, Annabelle Laird, Emma Hatcher and Mary Gusset all of Clay City, and 12 grandchildren also survive. The body was taken from Pape Memorial Home Monday afternoon to the family residence until the hour of the funeral at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday at Pleasant Grove Church. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
