Kevin Lee Buck was born May 19, 1967 in Millington, Tennessee. He departed this life March, 6, 2013 at his home in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas at the age of 45 years, 9 months and 15 days. He spent his life as a son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle and friend. Before becoming disabled he worked in construction as a mason's helper and roofer. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Franklin Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother: Janet Standridge of Franklin; his father: Rex Buck of Homosassa, Florida; two half brothers: Laurence Buck of Marble, Texas and Jonathan Buck of Springhill, Florida; one step brother: Doug Puritis of Ladson, South Carolina; one sister: Michele Smith of Franklin; two step sisters: Tara Grippe of Port Jefferson Station, New York and Sabrina Ray of Charleston, South Carolina; one niece: Holly Hawk; one nephew: Caelan Hawk both of Franklin; his maternal grandmother: Mabel Pitts of Ottawa, Illinois and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by two step fathers: J.B. Standridge and Wesley Largent; his maternal grandfather: Leon Pitts; his paternal grandparents: Helen and Homer Buck and his step mother: Judith Buck.
Graveside funeral service will be Thursday, March 14, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Roberts Cemetery in Franklin, Arkansas under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 13 from 6-8 p.m.
