Nancy was the daughter of William T.Wells and Susanna Ward.She married unknown Creech..My grandma Laura Jane Creech said his name was Mort Creech.I have found some mention of Mort while researching,but can't validate at this time.Some reports say Mort and she divorced and he moved to AK.There is a Mort Creech that fits criteria as in location,dates ect,but no way to prove it.On her sons Jonathan's marriage certificate J.Creech is listed as his father and on his death certificate his father is named as Jonathan Creech. Nancy had 2 children by this unknown Creech,Jonathan,,and Ward.They are listed in the 1850 VA census. Benjamin is listed as well,but I believe he is the son of her Tomkins husband.
