For my Grandma: Gladys Schuler Heckmann
Dear Heavenly Father up in the Sky
You want her up with you but my question is why?
Her time on earth is coming to an end
You, up in heaven, awaiting her with all her old friends.
You, dear God, have helped us all
Hold us even tighter so that we won't fall
Sick and in the hospital is where she'll be
Help us so that your will is what we will see
We all love her very true
Make her comfortable so she isn't so blue.
Trusting in you is all we have left to give
And the Hope that for another day she may live
Death is hard to deal with, isn't it?
But you probably hear that quite a bit
Love is what keeps her holding on
I know, though, with you all her panic will be gone
Please help us each and every day
And always show us that you are the way.
AMEN

Love you granddaughter,
Katie Ann Belitz
