He was born on Sept. 20,1927 in Elkhart Lake to Milton and Selma Henschel Schuler. On Nov.13,1948, he married Clarice Hansen.
They raised their sons in Kiel, lived in Plymouth, and retired in Florida. Clarice preceded him in Nov. 2011.
Marvin is survived by his sons, Steve (Elaine) Schuler and Mark (Kay) Schuler; five grand daughters, Amy(John) Hoffmann, Stacey (Jeff) Lecher, Sara (Dave) Brunette, Tiffany (Tommy) Jennings,and Amber Schuler (Spouse Michael Sbalchiero); ten great-grandchildren; in-laws, Lis and Dave Thiel.
A private rite was held in Florida. Marvin will be remembered for dollhouses and barns for the grand kids, his love of Westerns, and his ability to make friends wherever he went.
