Henry F. Bohne, 72 of Rt. 1, Newton, a retired Town of Meeme farmer, died Sunday at home.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. James United Church of Christ, Spring Valley. The Rev. Kenneth C. Schultz will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Bohne was born June 20, 1896, in the Town of Meeme, son of the late Herman and Anna Kolwey Bohne. He married Ella Simonsmeier April 2, 1923.
They located on the Bohne home farm which they operated until their retirement in 1961. Mr. Bohne was a life member of St. James United Church of Christ, superintendent and secretary of the church cemetery and treasurer of the Mosel-Centerville Telephone Co.

Surviving are his wife, three sons, Eugene, Sussex (Waukesha County). Henry Jr., Hyattville, Md., and Donald, Manitowoc; three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Laverne) Zink. Madison, Mrs. Gerald (Marie) Leonhard, Kiel, and Mrs. William (Dorothy) Mueller Jr., Manitowoc; 14 grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Emma Freis, Cleveland.

Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, after 4 p.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday and then at the church from noon until the time of service.
