She was united in marriage to Sherman W. Hastings in 1908. The couple lived in Victory all their married lives. To this union three children were born. Mr. Hastings passed in 1968. Mrs. Hastings stayed in her home until four years ago when she became a resident Vernon Home for the Retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter Ester who died at 17. Also five brothers, Arba, Perry, Blain, Van and Whitney Morrison. Two sister Effie and Alice.
Mrs. Hastings leaves to mourn a daughter Kathryn(Charles)Page, one son Charles"Gus"; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Also nieces and nephews and many, many friends. She was a kind and loving mother and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Rev. Wilbert Winkler will officiate with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery La Crosse.
