SCOTTSBLUFF - A funeral for Anna M. Groskopf, 89, of 710 E., Overland, Apt 11, who died Monday in the Scottsbluff hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Emmanuel Congregational Church here with the Rev. Carl F. Brost officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery here.
A memorial has been established to the church. Jolliffe Funeral Home at Scottsbluff is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Jan. 22, 1892, at Frank, Saratov, Volga, Russia. In 1907 she moved with her family to the United States to Grand Island. The family moved to Colorado in 1911 and in February of that year she married Conrad Groskopf at Grand Island. The couple lived in Washington and Utah before returning to Nebraska, where she had resided since then.
She was a member of the church, the Church Brotherhood, Ladies Aid Senior Group and was a Sunday School teacher.
Survivors include sons Reinhold and William, both of Scottsbluff, and Walter of Portland, Ore.; daughters Mrs. Helen Camara of Denver and Mrs. Frieda Spencer of Scottsbluff; brothers Henry Kammerzell of Aurora, Colo., and Fred Kammerzell of Gering; sisters Mrs. Mary Lipps of Worland, Wyo., Mrs. Katie Scheidt of Milwaukee, Mrs. Mollie Kuxhausen of Scottsbluff and Mrs. Frieda Schwartz of Gering; 28
grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons and two daughters.
