Mary A. Walker, 82, of Decatur, died 7:50 a.m. Wednesday (April 27, 1994) in St. Mary's Hospital.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home.
Mrs. Walker was born Jan. 20, 1912 in Monticello, the daughter of Isaac J. and Sarah Jane McKinzie Higgins. She married Charles Aden Walker in Nov. 20, 1930. He preceded her in death on Feb. 28, 1976.
Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Marlys) Thompson of Decatur; Barb Clements of Oakley; son, Roger A. Walker of Rochester; brothers, Lewis Higgins of Monticello; Harold Higgins of Pana; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, one daughter and one grandchild.
