Mr. Moore was born in Lapel Feb. 9, 1926, the son of Clifford R. and Rowena Stottlemeyer Moore. He resided in Anderson and Middletown area all his life. He was a member of the Lapel Methodist Church and served in the Pacific Theater with the Marine Corps during World War II.
The deceased is survived by his wife Veronica; his mother of Lapel; on son [step-son], Delbert G. stationed at Camp Pendleton , Calif., with the U.S. Marines; a brother Wilbur of Lapel; and two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Pettigrew and Mrs. Phillip (Betty) Hesson, both of Lapel; and several nieces and nephews.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home until 1 p.m. Tuesday, where friends may call.
