OBERMEYER
Passed away in Lethbridge, Tuesday, February 12th , 1985 after a brief illness , RUDY OBERMEYER at the age of 69 years, beloved husband o f Win Obermeyer of Lethbridge.
Born in Formosa, Ontario, January 28th, 1916 to Philip and Elizabeth Obermeyer, the late Mr. Obermeyer married Winnifred Kearney on June 8th, 1940 in Guelph, Ontario.
He served in the Army from 1942 to 1946, as a Lieutenant. They Moved to Edmonton in 1946, then to Lethbridge where he was District Gas Inspector for Southern Alberta. He then retired in 1981.
Rudy and Win spent many of their summers at their cabin in Rushmere, B.C He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, B.P.O. Elks, the Henderson Lake Golf Club and Assumption Church.
Besides his loving wife , Win; he is survived by his two sons both of Lethbridge; two daughters of Calgary; four grandchildren; five brothers, Vic Mark and Philip of Kitchener, Ontario Lawrence of Grand Bend, Ontario, Tony of Waterloo , Ontario three sisters, Helen of Kitchener, Ontario Betty of Chilliwack B.C. and Phyllis of Hanover, Ontario; and three special uncles, Corney, Casey and Frank all of Ontario.
He was predeceased by his parents Philip and Elizabeth his daughter, Donna Stotz; his mother-in law, Nellie Wardrope and his brothers, Chris and Leo.
