Aaron Jene Henry, 83, a native and resident of Chauvin, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. A. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Elie Cemetery in Chauvin.
He is survived his wife of 57 years, Nelwyn Stoufflet Henry; son, Joey Henry and wife, Isabelle; grandchildren, Toby Henry, Lacey Henry Hebert, Shane Henry and Robbie Henry; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Luke, Carsyn and Joey Henry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam Sr. and Evelina Pinell Henry; sons, Keith and Denny Henry; brothers, Adam Jr., Joseph, Nolan and Delvin Henry; and sisters, Louise Crochet, Mable Neil and Lena Henry.
He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, veteran of the Korean Conflict, member of the V.F.W., Aswell Picou Post No. 9608 and member of the Knights of Columbus No. 5013 in Chauvin.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
