Mrs. Moore was born in Clarendon County, a daughter of the late Danny R. Coker and Ethel Driggers Coker. She was a member of Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church and attended Pergamos United Methodist Church. Mrs. Moore retired from B.C. Moores and was a cosmetologist.
Survivors include three daughters, Shirley A. Moore of Lake City, Pam M. Kennedy (fiance, Whitney Gibbons) of Turbeville and Claire M. Matthews (Carlie) of Coward; a son, Bert J. Moore of Lake City; a sister, Betty C. Atkinson of New Zion; two brothers, W.L. Mutt Coker (Edwardine) of Alcolu and D.D. Lucky Coker (Shirley) of Lake City; three sisters-in-law, Natalie Coker, Mary Francis G. Coker and Gwen M. Coker, all ofTurbeville; seven grandchildren, Heather Gerald (Patrick) of Coward, Jody Matthews (Rhonda) of Coward, Jay Moore (Carla) of Lake City, Joy Floyd (Doug) of New Zion, Brian Kennedy of Fairfield, Ohio, Wade J. Kennedy (Melissa) of Cataba,N.C., and Jim Kennedy (Julia Ann) of Turbeville; seven great-grandchildren; a lifelong friend, Thelma Wilson of Lake City; and a faithful caregiver, Virginia Allen of Coward. Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by two sisters, Burnette C. Coker and Janie Lee Coker; and three brothers, Cleo Coker, A.R. JabCoker and Howard D. Pompey Coker.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in Brockington FuneralHome Chapel. Graveside services will follow in Lake City Memorial Park.
