OBITUARY 1 from Wilkes-Barre Record May 12, 1965 page 10 - MRS. GERTRUDE BLAUM - Mrs. Gertrude Lehman Blaum, 90 River Street, Forty Fort, died yesterday morning at 6:40 in General Hospital. She had been a medical patient since April 29. Born in Lock Haven, she received her elementary education in the borough schools and was graduated from Patton (Pa.) High School. She took up residence in Wilkes-Barre following her marriage and had resided at the Forty Fort address the last 35 years. Mrs. Blaum was a member of St. Nicholas Church, and Third Order of St. Francis and Altar and Rosary Society of the church. Her husband, Paul, died in 1941. Surviving are son, Phillip, at home; four grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Anna Wyland, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Rose Saly, Patton; brother, George Lehman, Patton. The funeral will be held from the funeral home, 243 South Washington Street, Friday morning at 9 followed by Requiem High Mass at 9:30 in St. Nicholas Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Shavertown. Friends may call tonight 7 to 10, and Thursday, 2 to 5 and 7 to 10.

OBITUARY 2 from Wilkes-Barre Times Leader May 14, 1965 page 40 - Mrs. Gertrude Blaum - Mrs. Gertrude Lehman Blaum of 90 River Street, Forty Fort, was borne to rest this morning from the Klein Funeral Home, 243 South Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre. The Requiem Mass, in St. Nicholas Church, City, was celebrated by Rt. Rev. Monsignor Francis A. Schmidt, pastor. Mrs. Mary Marzen was organist. Rev. George Demuth and Rev. Michael Vetter pronounced final benediction at the parish cemetery, Shavertown. Pallbearers were Joseph Meier, Daniel Barkley, Richard Krop, Robert Williams, John Luksic and Joseph Youngblood. Rev. Michael Vetter, of Hazleton, was seated in the sanctuary.

ESTATE - Wilkes-Barre Record May 15, 1965 page 4 - Mrs. Gertrude Blaum Leaves $9,700 Estate - Mrs. Gertrude L. Blaum, Forty Fort, left a $9,700 estate under a will probated yesterday at the office of Register of Wills Helen A O'Connor. All right, title and interest in stock of Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Incorporated, and American Vitrified Products Company is left to any children born of the union of decedent's son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Theresa Blaum. Real estate at 90 River Street, Forty Fort, Is left to son, Philip. Remainder of the estate is left to any brothers or sisters surviving testatrix. The will, dated July 18, 1961, names brother. George A. Lehman of Patton Borough executor. Mrs. Blaum died May 11 at the age of 70. Personal property is valued at $1,200. Real estate is valued at $8,500.
