She was born March 17, 1928, in Jamaica, N.Y., the daughter of Benjamin and Florence (Tricker) Waldron.
She was a 1945 graduate of FK Lane High School in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mrs. Gambardella was a legal secretary.
She was a resident of Garden City, N.Y., moving to Rutland in 2001.
Surviving are daughters, Susan Cassarino and husband Jeff of Rutland, Lisa Goldblatt and husband Nick of Smyrna, Ga.; four grandchildren, Andrew Cassarino and Kyle Cassarino, both of Rutland, Brian Goldblatt and Jason Goldblatt, both of Smyrna, Ga.
She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Gambardella, in 2001; two brothers, Howard Waldron and William Waldron; four sisters, Elizabeth Becker, Dorothy Misiano, Viola Waldron and Bertha Waldron.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in the Clifford Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. James Dodson, assistant pastor of Christ the King Church.
Friends may call at the Clifford Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mount St. Joseph Academy Development Fund, 127 Convent Ave., Rutland, VT 05701.
