He first married Phoebe Elanore (Ellander) Thackston in 1889. Phoebe Ellander and Oscar Greenberry Croft were the parents of two sons; Ira CROFT b: Mar 1890 and Arthur CROFT b: May 1891. It is possible that these two sons are buried here in Croft Family Cemetery. Markers are hard to find and some buried here only have rocks for headstones. I find no record of these two sons births any where? They could also possibly have married and moved away?
She died three years later. Possibly from child birth. Soon after her death, he married Phoebe's sister Sarah Elizabeth Thackston
