L.C. Hovis, whose death occurred Thursday, May 22, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bud Smith, at Ad Hall, was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cameron, Friday afternoon at 3:30. The religious service was conducted by Rev. H.A. Land and the burial was in charge of the I.O.O.F. Lodge. Mr. Hovis is survived by three sons and two daughters: Howard Hovis, James Hovis, Cameron, Will Hovis, Austin, Mrs. Bud Smith, Ad Hall and Mrs. D.C. Baggett of Brownwood. Cameron Herald, June 5, 1924
