Evening Times; Cumberland, Maryland, Monday, February 24, 1975: “Miss Nora Elizabeth Fahey, 68 of 4 Center Street, Elk Garden, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital, where she had been admitted on January 5.  Born in Elk Garden,she was a daughter of the late John J. and Margaret Ellen (Carney) Fahey.  She was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church, Kitzmiller.  Surviving are two brother, P. Emmett Fahey, city and Thomas F. Fahey, Elk Garden; a sister, Mrs. Vincent Firlie, city and a number of nieces and nephews.  The body is at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, where friends will be received today from 7 until 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.  Rosary will be recited in the funeral home tomorrow at 8:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Harold Holler. James Holler. Stephen Hornick, DeSales McDade, Joseph Madden Sr. and William V. Keegan.
