Patsy J. Ross, 81, passed away March 9, 2013. A visitation will be held March 12, 2013 from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM with funeral service at 12:30 PM at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Interment will follow services at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Patsy was born February 9, 1932 in Eldon, Missouri to Bert Apperson and Margaret Thompson Apperson. She lived in Eldon, Missouri and Kansas City during her lifetime. April 21, 1957, Patsy married the love of her life, William "Bill" Ross. Patsy and Bill had three children; Pamela, Dan and David. She worked at HD Lee and Century-Hulbert and retired at the age of 62. Patsy was known for quilting and crocheting. She often gave quilts and afghans as gifts for her family.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Margaret; 2 brothers, Dave Apperson and Jerry Apperson; sister, Louise Meyers; son, Charles "David" Ross; and a great-granddaughter, Mikayla Langford. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bill Ross; daughter, Pam and Randy Stevens; son, Dan and Kerry Ross; grandchildren: Amanda and Troy Langford, Jennifer and Allen Prodoehl, Nicole Woods, Dustin Ross, and Austin Ross; great-grandchildren, Zackary Langford, Zander Langford, and Ezekiel Prodoehl; 1 brother and 5 sisters.
