Daughter of George and Anna Burch Hedden, who came to Gilmer co., Ga in 1840 with John and Mary Pinson Burch(parents of Anna Burch) Elizabeth is shown with her parents in 1850 census of Gilmer Co. however the surname is mis-spelled as "Heading". She married John Dyer on May 14, 1851, Gilmer Co. Ga.,Bk.1, pg.143, no legible tombstones have been found for Elizabeth's parents, or her Burch grandparents. It is believed they are buried in unmarked graves of one of the church cemeteries in the Boardtown community of Gilmer Co. or perhaps in unmarked graves of an old previously owned Burch family cemetery.
