Mrs. Leonard (Hiddle) Casagrande, 86 of Whispering Pines Nursing Home and formerly of Chesterton, died Friday in Porter Memorial Hospital
She was born Nov. 3, 1896 in Alabama, the daughter of Leonard and Mary (Price) Kelch. On Sept. 10, 1955 she married Umberto Casagrande who died March 26, 1970.
She was retired from the Lewin Overall Factory, Clinton, where she was employed as an inspector for 17 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Edna Wilson of Valparaiso; six grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and 26 great-greatgrandchildren.
Services 2 p.m. at Carl Edmonds Funeral Home, Chesterton; the Rev. Alfred Templeton officiating; burial 8/9/1983, in Chesterton Cemetery.
