TAYLORSVILLE Mrs. Nora Clemmer Wallace 59, died April 1, 2001 in Valley Nursing Center.

The daughter of Carl and Eva Clemmer, she was born on Monday, December 22, 1941 in Randolph County. She grew up in Mt. Holly, attended Sacred Hearts of Belmont, and was a graduate of West Mecklenburg High School and the North Carolina School of Broadcasting. She had worked for Boggs Cleaning Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Beverly Diane Faulkenberry in 1966; and by four of her sisters, Gertie Wyatt, Selena Auton, Peggy White, and Helen Hansen.
Surviving are her three children, Lisa and husband Alan Scroggs of Taylorsville, Robi and wife Sharon Brendle of Dallas, and Jody Keever of Kannapolis; one brother, David and wife Mae Clemmer of Charlotte; one sister, Betty Williams of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Daniel Horton and Matthew Horton, both of Taylorsville, and Tia Slocum of Kannapolis; as well as several nieces and nephews, and her life long friend, Linda Lynch of Mt. Holly.
