Mrs. Evelyna Bailey Wilson, 72, of 285 Unicorn Drive, Cascade, VA went to be with her Lord at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden, NC.
She was born in Danville, VA, a daughter of Walter W Bailey and Bertha Wilson Bailey, both deceased.
She was a retired lab technician with Virginia Solite and also worked in cosmetology for many years. She was a member of Cascade United Methodist Church. She was devoted and very active in projects for the benefit of the Cascade Community.
She is survived by husband, William V Wilson of the home, daughter Deborah Wilson Bliss and husband Tony of Ridgeway, son William V Wilson, Jr. of Cascade, sister Peggy Haley of Cascade, grandchildren, Jason Bliss, Crystal Manning, Lauren Wilson and Stephen Wilson and great grandson Ryan Hayes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son John Wayne Wilson and brother Bryant Bailey.
Funeral services were held at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with Reverend Wayne Mayberry and Reverend Rick Hayward officiating.
Interment followed in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens in Eden.
