McCARTY, CLARENCE B. "C.B.", 95, of Louisville, passed away Thursday March 7, 2013 at the Glenridge Nursing Home.
Clarence was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church and had retired from the old International Harvestor Company. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Gordon (Bobbitt) McCarty; and two sisters, Opal McPherson and Geneva McCarty. Survivors include his two stepsons, Rev. Leslie Hughes (Brenda) and James Hughes (Wanda); a sister, Linda McClellan (Jerry); three brothers, Herbert McCarty (Sue), James McCarty (Linda) and Coy McCarty (Carolyn); six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Pleasureville Cemetery, Pleasureville, KY. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday. Memorial gifts to his church.
