Normando P. Pumarada 80 of Waldorf, Md. died March 5, 2013 at CIVISTA Medical Center in LaPlata, Md.
He was born on August 25, 1932 in Mauban Quezon, Philippines to the late Arsenio Pumarada and Rosario Pumarada.
He is survived by his wife Lydia D. Pumarada, daughters Ma. Carolina Pumarada-Ponce, and her husband Jun Ponce, Isidra Anna Lissa P. Capulong, and her husband Alex Capulong,
brother Rosauro P. Pumarada, sister Lina P. Medenilla and grandchild Aerron Capulong.
He worked for their family business in the Philippines, was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in LaPlata, Md. and loved raising his family and being part of his church.
The family will receive friends on Monday March 11, 2013 from 5 to 8 PM, with prayers at 7 PM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home 211 St. Mary's Ave. LaPlata, Md. 20646.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday March 12, 2013 10 AM at the Sacred Heart Church LaPlata, Md.Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.
