George Allen Long was the son
of John Long 11 and Elizabeth
'Allen' Long. He was born in
Sevier Co., Tennessee.

George moved to Walker County,
Georiga in 1848. On August
28, 1851, he married Luiza
Drennon. They were the parents
of 3 children:
James Albert
Lucinda
John H.

George moved his family to
Westplains, Missouri and
was an ordained Baptist
Minister. He also joined
the Union during the Civil
War and fought till the war
was over.

George had preached through
out Missouri, Arkansas and
Texas.
