Funeral services for Rayford Abbe Williams, 70, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Trinity Church with the Rev. Doyle Patterson and the Rev. Paul Jantzen, both of Trinity Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park by White Funeral Home.

Mr. Williams died Thursday, Oct. 8, l998,.in Methodist Hospital.

He was born Sept. 4, 1928, in New Home where he grew up and attended schools. He graduate from Meadow High School. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and moved to Lubbock from Hale Center in 1953 and was a sales representative for Nichols Tillage Tools.

He was a member of Trinity Church where he served as an usher.

On July 21, 1956, he married Wanda Carrell in Hale Center.
