Born October 12, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Harold Henry and Ethel Agnes (Leister) Rice.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis L. "Denny" Pannebaker, whom she married June 10, 1972; three sons, Jeffrey Pannebaker and wife, Greta, of Painterville, Shane Pannebaker of Port Royal, and Chad Pannebaker and wife, Stacey, of Mifflin; brothers and sisters, Connie Swartz and husband Art, John Rice, Dick Rice and wife, Valerie, and Hazel Rauch and companion, John Lehman, all of Port Royal, Dave Rice and wife, Trisha, of Mt. Union, and Janet Zeiders and husband, Steve, and Jim Rice and companion, Irma Fryer, all of Mifflintown; and six grandchildren, Chelsea, Nylah, Brayden, Ashlyn, Logan, and Emma Pannebaker.
She was a member of the Tuscarora Church of the Brethren.
Cindy loved spending time with her family and doing things with her grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting Coke items and photographing eagles.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, with Pastors Peg Rowe, Albert Gray, and Charlie Sheaffer officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Mifflintown.
The family will receive friends from 10 am until the time of the services Saturday at the funeral home.
