Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Bethlehem Church of Chris with Albert Ward Officiating. Burial was in the Judd cemetery.
A Native of Putnam County, he was a retired farmer of the Eighth civil district. His parents were Robert and Ma[r]y Whitefield Herren. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Mary Henley and Mrs. Eddie Randolph, Baxter, Mrs. Mandy Thomas, Cookeville, Mrs. Lassie Presley, Shelbyville, Mrs. Ida Hancock, Midland, Mich., and Matilda Wheeler, San Bernardino, Calif.; five sons, Amos, Oscar, Simon, Oba and A.S. Herren, all of Silver Point, 97 grandchildren, 115 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
