A native of Hahira, GA, she was the daughter of the late William John Moore and Ida Mae (Williams) Moore, and the wife of the late Roy Carlisle Cash.
A school lunch Manager for 25 years at Cowpens Elementary School and Pine Street Elementary School, retiring in 1982, she was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and raised at Thornwell Home for Children in Clinton, SC.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean Cash Denton and her husband Jimmy of Spartanburg; a son, Joe C. Cash of Gaffney; a sister, Stella Warren of Valdosta, GA; two granddaughters, Caroline Cash, and Amy Denton Charles; three grandsons, Clay Cash, Jim Denton, and Kerry Cash; a great-granddaughter, Lane Charles; and a great-grandson, River Charles.
Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2002, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Brian C. Gilmer. The family received friends after the service at the graveside.
In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to Salem United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 160, Cowpens, SC 29330.
