Velma (Grahlman) Ferson, 88, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died Friday, November 5, 2004, at Bickford Cottage, Cedar Falls.
She was born November 15, 1915, near Sumner, Iowa, daughter of Emil and Magdelina (Reisner) Grahlman. She married Robert Ferson on September 23, 1940 in West Union, Iowa.
Mrs. Ferson graduated from Sumner High School. She was a homemaker.
Survivors includer her husband, three daughters, Marlys (Andrew) Schrag, Sacramento, California; and Barb Lemke and Debra Ferson, Waterloo, Iowa; a sister, Dorothy Schlie, Pine Top, Arizona; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Claude and Clayton Grahlman.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. Ansgar Lutheran Church, Waterloo, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories and for one hour before services Tuesday at the church.
