BRAUER - Eno E. Brauer, 81, 1746 Pershing Ave., died 12:20 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, 1970 in Fountain Terrace Nursing Home after a long illness. Born Sept 5, 1888 in Minonk, Ill., son of Mr. and Mrs. Eno Brauer. Lived 22 years in Rockford, coming here from New Milford. Married to the former Kate Tjaden in Benson, Ill., March 10, 1908. He farmed for many years in the New Milford area, retiring in 1948. He was last employed for 14 years as a maintenance man for the Quaker Oats Co. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include: three sons, O. C. Brauer, Rockford, Burdette, Rockford, and Robert, Delavan, Wis.; four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Brentner, Mrs. Charlotte Scamp and Mrs. Doris Jury, all of Rockford, and Mrs. Leota Carson, Detroit; a sister, Mrs. Irene DePew, Rockford; several nieces and nephews; 23 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. His wife died Feb. 9, 1965.

Services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, in Wilbur Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., with the Rev. Dr. O. Garfield Beckstrand II, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.
