Not proven he is buried in this cemetery, but seems likely, as Contributor Becky Martin, # 47418636, provided the following information:
"We were given a deed for the Horn family burial at Spring Creek cemetery - dated 1899. The courthouse had a map of plots dated 1891 with owners. William Horn is listed as one. Tried to see if a burial without luck. Tons of lilacs. Wonder if sons William and Richard are buried there. This cemetery is by their family farm land."

From The St. Paul Phonograph, October 20, 1892, transcribed by Linda Berney:

Last Tuesday morning a sad fatality occurred near Wolbach. A 23-year-old son of Wm. Horn was riding on a road cart with a companion and carrying a gun. They stopped at a house and the companion went in leaving young Horn alone. When he returned found him fallen. It is supposed that he accidently discharged the gun, killing him instantly. Mr. Horn is an old resident of this country and has the deepest sympathy of a host of friends in this great affliction.
