ALBERTINE "JO" FULTZ, 80-year-old resident of Greeley, Colo., died May 8, 2006 at Greeley, Colo.
Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2006 at the Elmwood Cemetery, with Rev. Jeffrey R. Swigart officiating. Services are under the direction of the Zwanziger Funeral Home.
Albertine "Jo" Fultz was born Nov. 17, 1925 at Woodward, Okla. to Albert and Ida (McDowell) Hopkins. She was married to Thomas Fultz who passed away in 1987. She worked as a full time artist and was a member of the North Colorado Artist Association. She lived part of her life at Black Forest, Colo. Jo taught at Ridgeway High School, Ridgeway, Colo. for 12 years and has lived in Greeley for the past four years. Jo attended the Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters, Idahlynn Karre of Longmont, Colo., and by Debra Duba of Windsor, Colo., a sister Imogene Larsen of Casper, Wyo., four grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Some of Jo's family, the Hopkins and McDowells, still live in Woodward and the surrounding area.
Jo was preceded in death, by her parents, husband Thomas Fultz and a son, Albert David Fultz.
