In 1930 she and her second husband, John Daly, and their two daughters lived in a house they owned at 3054 32nd Street in Sacramento. Their home was valued at $3800, and they did have a radio. He worked as a lawyer in a law office and she as a stenographer in presumably the same law office.

In 1940 she, her third husband, their son, her daughter June from her first marriage, and her maternal grandmother lived in a house they owned at Box 157 Sylvan Road, Citrus Heights, CA. Their home was valued at $2700. He worked as a clerk for a steam railroad, with an income in 1939 of $1725 for 52 weeks of work.
